Birdwatch 2012 Rowan Class went on a bird hunt as part of the Big Schools Birdwatch. They saw blackbirds, magpies, wood pigeons, black headed gulls and crows. They also heard some bird song. All the classes in the school are taking part and recording what they have seen to send off to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).
Friday 27 January - 10-11am
Just a reminder that the first monthly play session for under fives takes place this Friday in the After School Club room at 10am. This week, the activities include fruit printing, painting and songtime. The session is open to all families with under fives, whether or not they have children at the school. Sessions are run by the Banstead Children's Centre and are free of charge. Parents should stay with their children. Do come along and join the fun, you will get a warm welcome. If you live outside of Surrey or the London Borough of Sutton, you will need to submit your application form to your home local authority.
The closing date for applications is 15 January 2012.

Willows After School Club
The club is based in the newly converted After School Club rooms and children will also have supervised access to the hall and outside areas.
Information about the club and an application form can be found by clicking the After School Club button on the left. Please note that application forms should be returned directly to the club providers, Jancett. Jancett runs lots of After School Clubs in the Sutton/Cheam/Wallington area and are very experienced childcare providers.
